Ochsner Expansion Continues; Will Erect Vieux Carre Full Body Massage Clinic

THE DISTRICT — In yet another sign of the Ochsner Hospital Foundation’s continued monopolization of the Crescent City holistic health care market, hospital officials today broke ground on the Ochsner Full Body Massage Clinic.

“We believe that Alton Ochsner would be proud of our new massage parlor, I mean clinic, conveniently located just off Basin Street, in what was once Storyville, just two blocks from the Quarter” stated Allen Williamson, Administrative Director for Ochsner.

“Ochsner Clinic understands that chronic stress can lead to fatigue. Since Ochsner provides healthcare with piece of mind, we hope massage therapy will provide some full release to this city, on an outpatient basis.”

Vin Tran, prior manager of the Asian Princess Spa in New Orleans East, has been brought on to oversee the transition.

“The last few years has brought some tough times to this city,” said Ms. Tran. “We believe that the Ochsner Full Body Massage Clinic can provide the happy ending many people are looking for after a hard day.”

Ms. Tran also stated that the expected success of the parlor will likely lead to more Ochsner expansion and a likely satellite clinic on near Visions Men’s Club.
